  • Two New Haven Men Arrested in Stolen Car Incident: Marcelas Hines and Jared Benjamin, both of New Haven, were arrested late last month in West Haven after a police officer spotted them in a stolen Subaru on Boston Post Road. The driver attempted to flee but the officer pinned the vehicle against a fence on a dead-end street. Both men face charges related to larceny, credit card theft, and narcotics offenses, and Benjamin had nine outstanding warrants.
  • City Council Meeting Scheduled: The West Haven City Council is scheduled to hold a meeting tonight, November 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers.
  • Veterans Day Tribute Planned: A Veterans Day tribute is scheduled to take place at the Veterans Walk of Honor in Bradley Point Park tomorrow, November 11, at 10:45 AM, hosted by the West Haven Veterans Council and the city.

  • Bristol Woman Dies in Driveway Incident: A 69-year-old Bristol woman died after she was found pinned under her car in her driveway on Sunday night. Police are investigating the incident.
  • CT Trooper Charged with Smuggling Power Tool: A Connecticut State Trooper used his security access badge to smuggle a power tool onto a flight at Bradley Airport, according to a warrant.
